We’re seeking a proactive people person who has the drive to get things done, enjoys working with people and has great ideas on how to provide the best workplace for our employees. Your main role would be to create and maintain our great company culture through different activities, e.g. taking care of our benefits and employee wellbeing, making sure that new people are onboarded properly and so much more.

You will be part of a small local HR team but will receive mentorship and support from the People team where needed.


✍️ Your daily tasks will be

  • Taking the ownership of employee data and acting as a main user on our HR platform, by making sure that all necessary data is included (personnel data, benefiits, sick leaves etc.).
  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are all in compliance.
  • Ensuring that health and safety policies are up to date.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to HR Manager.
  • Explains company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are all in compliance.
  • Full ownership of the recruitment process: screening, conduction of the preliminary interviews, further coordination of meetings with respective managers who will be making a final hiring decision.
  • Develops and/or maintains descriptions for all new jobs, performs desk audits on workstations reviewing and updates job descriptions as needed.
  • Completes paperwork and reports as required or requested with due diligence.
  • Assists with organization of the corporate events and recognition programs when needed.
  • Assists with new policy and procedure development for Bombay Studio.
  • Maintains the confidentiality of the HR department in regard to employee disclosures and issues.


✔️ What we expect from you

  • Upper Intermediate English.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience 3-5 years as HR Generalist.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of labor law compliance issues and practices.
  • Knowledge of the principles of safety compliance.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional documents, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Office Applications (e.g. Google Suite, Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Keynote, Survey Tools and Tableau) and other related software.
  • Ability to establish and implement new policies and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions and project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of goals.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of work records.
  • Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with employees at all levels and the general public.
  • You are a problem solver, not a problem finder.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position based in our office. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
